Story
I have challenged myself to run, The Great North Run 2018. in aid of South Tees Hospital Charity, Northallerton Palliative Care.
For people who know me this is a massive challenge as I am not the most athletic of people, my normal fitness regime consists of walking to the pub & playing pool or darts.
Last year My wife lost her Father, after a short battle with cancer it was a very hard time on the family (as many can relate to) my wife and her sister spending countless days and nights at there dads bedside, doing hospital runs etc... basically trying there best to do anything possible to keep him with us that bit longer.
Unfortunately on the 2nd April 2017 his fight came to a end and he was once again pain free and at rest.
Through out the ordeal they had the help and support of Northallerton Palliative Care. (along with the help other family members and close friends) Without there help and support the ordeal could have been a lot worse, I'm hoping to raise as much money as possible to help keep the work these wonderful people do going, it cant be the easiest of jobs but the support the give is second to none.
I am asking if you could all help me raise as much as possible for which I will be eternally grateful.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and your support
Luke
