Story
Hello,
Many thanks for visiting my JustGiving page!
As many of you may know, I am collaborating with the charity Kenyan Orphan Project (KOP) (registered number 1118528) funded in 2001 by three medical students. The charity supports local sustainable projects in Kisumu (Kenya), led by local partners, which aid vulnerable children such as orphans and street children.
KOP runs a Student Program in which students from across 13 UK Universities (Barts, Bristol, Cambridge, Cardiff, Dundee, Glasgow, Imperial, Kings, Leeds, Leicester, Manchester, Nottingham, Warwick) visit the partners in Kisumu for two weeks and help in two of the projects. This can be in a school, feeding center or street children’s center. This year almost 160 students will go to Kisumu (being me one of them!) and see how the money we have raised for the charity is making a difference in many children's lives.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
