I'll never forget the moment the Doctor said 'you're in labour, your babies are coming & there's nothing we can do to stop them' I was only 27 weeks pregnant... with twins... we were terrified & went into complete shock.

I will happily share our story with you over the next 6 weeks & give you an insight into our Neonatal Journey, one which no parent can prepare for or expects to find themselves going through.

Our story has a happy ending though; Luke & Eva have just celebrated their 1st birthday & are both happy & healthy babies. Without the dedication, care & expertise of the staff, this may have had a different ending.  

As our way of saying "Thank You" to the Neonatal Team at UHCW (University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire) & to help them to continue to save the lives of other babies born early we have set the challenge of raising £5000.  Our event is a sponsored run/walk/cycle around Draycote Water on Saturday 19th September 2015.  We would love as many people as possible to get involved either by taking part or by sponsoring someone who is & joining us on the day.
