Lost in Pace Step Challenge 4th February - 15th February · 15 February 2019 to 28 February 2019 ·

Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

Thanks for visiting our page. We're raising money for the British Heart Foundation's research and would be so grateful for your support. The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives.

As a nod to Thales’ work around Space and to celebrate the 50th
anniversary  of the first moon landing in 1969, Thales staff have been challenged to  get sponsored to collectively walk the equatorial circumference of the moon, or around 15,000,000 steps in 12 days!

Each team of six is aiming to walk 60,000 steps a day and raise at least £600 for the British Heart Foundation.

The money raised through taking part in our Lost in Pace challenge
will help to fund 170 CPR kits for secondary schools around the
country, teaching around 25,000 people the vital skills needed to help
save a life following a cardiac arrest.
