<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p>
<p>Some might say I'm stupid, but I've gone and agreed to run a marathon next week with 10 days notice and very little training. I think I'd be stupid not to!</p>
<p>A friend of mine has just be told she has a number of tumours in her brain and will be starting chemo again shortly - she has fought and won her battles with cancer many times and is determined to do so again.</p>
<p>Inspired by her bravery, inner strength and determination I have promised to finish this marathon (which due to the lack of training will be my hardest yet) and to raise a little bit of valuable funding for cancer research along the way.</p>
<p>So for all our brave friends and family fighting this awful disease please donate whatever you can afford to and help the scientists to continue to try find a cure. They've made such massive advances in recent years, lets not make them stop now! </p>
