London to Amsterdam Football League Challenge · 6 June 2014 to 8 June 2014 ·

Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.

Story

Here we go here we go here we go...

Whether it's football season or not - Men United is very much on my mind!!!

Captaining this celebrity team is a great way to remind guys (and their families) about prostate cancer awareness.

There have been and continue to be exciting events i am backing for the charity.  Aiming to use my football, motor racing, golf and yes cycling to educate and save lives.

Keep up to date @bliss8

SO HERE'S STORY SO FAR

Firstly...I was challenged by a certain mascot (Harry!) to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.  Drawing awareness to Motor Neurone disease is vital, but my own personal inspiration is getting men to be aware of the dangers of prostate cancer.  So both charities benefitted from this amazing global campaign....See me freeze here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g1MqHbh5170 and donate, right here!

On Sept 2014 i took to the pitch at Morecambe FC,  under the leadership of Sam Allardyce v Shanghai Clever FC, the first Chinese team to play over here.  All for Men United.

I started off the year,  on the second annual London to Amsterdam ride, this time leading many clubs, players and fans from the football league on this challenge.  Setting out from Leyton Orient, our goal was Ajax, Amsterdam..and 150 of us succeeded.

On the Keyline Rally I was one of the drivers taking a car, in 80's style, round a fair chunk of Europe.  4 countries, over 1400 miles, 4 days !  An element of whacky races crossed with gumball rally - our team, the DamnedBusters did us proud.

2015 saw me captain Men United at Leyton Orient this time with my old boss Harry in charge ... And Russell Brand as assistant manager !  A fantastic day for fundraising.  Don't ask the score.

Then 2015 L2A ... Back on the bike to Ajax and this time leading a team from AFC Bournemouth ... Plus a couple of hundred others!

Thanks to all of you for giving so generously! And to sponsors Totally Foxed Communications for their support with these events along with Go Pro and Foam Techniques
