Peter's Commute 2018 · 29 June 2018 ·

Makomborero works to relieve poverty in Zimbabwe through education. We do this by enabling deprived, talented students to complete their education & attain excellent grades in their A-levels. Makomborero gives students the chance to fulfil their undeniable potential & gives them hope and a future.

Story

Makomborero is a small Charity set up by Mark and Laura Albertyn to relieve poverty and advance education in their native Zimbabwe. Money raised by Peter’s Commute will go directly to fund scholarships for A level students from some of the most deprived areas of the country. The first group of 15 students (pictured) have now completed their A levels thanks to the scholarship programme run by Makomborero. They are all now either at university or in employment.
