As most of you know I am going to Kenya in April 2010 with Harambee for Kenya a charity that aims to provide a place of safety for homeless young people. A group of 20 of us (including a local scouts group) are hoping to go out this Easter to work with the children on various projects including building a chicken coup as a means of food and income for the house.

We would also really like to organise a day trip for the young people to Lake Victoria whilst we are there, a place none of them have ever visited before. Any money donated will go towards the cost of making this happen, including coach hire (£250), refreshments and appropriate shoes for the trip, as well as supporting these young people in the house (to give you a basic idea, £20 will cover the cost of food, clothes and medical help for one child for a month).
