We are fighting to make a world where diabetes does no harm

Story

Michael Lewis sadly passed away on the 25th November 2015, aged only 20, we believe due to Dead in Bed Syndrome, a little known syndrome associated to Type 1 Diabetes, which he had had since he was 4 years old.

The Michael Lewis Foundation has been set up to raise awareness of Dead in Bed Syndrome and help find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes. Michael's family want to try and prevent other families suffering the heartbreak they are going through.

On 1st July 2017, I shall be doing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge. This involves a 24.5 mile walk taking in the ascents and descent of Pen y Ghent (694m), Whernside (736m) and Ingleborough (723m) and all in under 12 hours !!

Michael was a very determined young man who never let his condition prevent him from achieving his goals,  so your support in helping me achieve this goal for Michael's Foundation would be really appreciated.

It would mean the world to me and to the Foundation if you could spare a few pounds to sponsor me and help me on my way.

Thank you

Lynda
