Story

In May, I will be taking on 8 peaks in just 8 hours in the Lake District, including Scafell Pike, the highest mountain in England. It will be tough but I am determined to complete it and make it back in one piece.

I have an on going back issue and recently I have got quite stuck in a rut with it. The challenge I face is that I need to keep active to improve flexibility and keep the pain in check. I need a challenge for my mind and body to kick start my fitness regime again. Something I can't back out of.

This challenge is going to be really tough but it will support people living with cancer, as well as getting me back on track.

One of the biggest challenges I face is raising the required sponsorship. So if you feel you can support me then -Please, please donate if you can and help Macmillan reach and improve the lives of everybody affected by cancer.

  • Just £2 can keep a typical Macmillan information and support centre stocked with all the information resources they need to support people affected by cancer for one hour
  • £25 could pay for a Macmillan nurse for one hour, helping people living with cancer and their families receive essential medical, practical and emotional support.
