A massive thank you to everyone who so generously sponsored me for the Brighton Equality Walk and Great Manchester Run. You raised £325, to give some perspective, this is  in the top 5 Stonewall fundraisers, so I’m sure you can appreciate what this means to such a small charity.

Amazingly, it poured down all day in Brighton, and not a drop in Manchester. The highlight of the Manchester run was bumping into the solitary figure of Haile Gebrselassie, as he warmed up for his winning race in the Manchester back streets. We are the same age, but that is where the similarities end as I’ll try not to mention the head wind and other excuses that saw me come in at 48 mins, some way short of a personal best. (As a Liverpool fan, I think it was running down Sir Matt Busby way that put me off!)
