I've always wanted to run a marathon and I'm delighted that I won a ballot place to run London this year.  This means that all the money that you donate goes straight to the Lymphoma Research Trust.  Mum chose this charity and I hope that you will help me support them in their quest to fund valuable research into treating Lymphoma.  

Those of you that have ever attempted something as insane as marathon training will know that the process is long, cold, sometimes painful and a tiny bit boring.  I am fortunate to have the perfect training partner - he has the benefit of 4 legs, is much faster than me but has the good sense never to brag about his superior ability...
