We provide specialist palliative and end of life care for adults living across central and south west London. This year, we must raise £13m to supplement the funding we receive from the NHS so we can continue to provide our outstanding, compassionate care, free of charge. Your support is vital.

Story

Gosh! I guess if I am writing this and its going onto the 'world wide web' then I am really going to have to do the London Marathon!!!

As you know, I am not one of lifes natural runners-partly due to the lack of wedged running shoes available in the shops!

However, I now have a really important reason for cutting back on rose wine and olives as I try to turn myself into a finely tuned athlete!

My wonderful husband James ran the Marathon twice and we often joked that one day I would do it with him although we both knew that was highly unlikely! He tried so hard...even buying me all the latest running gear!!

James will be with me every mile, not in the way we had laughed about, but when I think about how proud he would be, it gives me strength and pushes me on.

It also gives me the opportunity to repay the amazing team at Trinity who helped to make the last few weeks with James very special for me and the children......for that we are eternally grateful.

And this is where I need your support....

Trinity is an independant charity and needs to raise over 5million pounds a year to keep it going and provide this very special free care for families in need

I am hoping to raise as much money as I can and all donations would be much appreciated.

Please please give generously and make sure that Trinity is able to be there for more families like mine.

I have a long way to go-my first 5K was in October and I am steadily building up my distances but will keep updating the page so you can all follow my progress.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
