Laura Lambert and I have decided to conquer our fears in the name of charity and are taking part in a tandem parachute jump at Bridlington Airfield on 15 September to raise funds for The Donkey Sanctuary Leeds.

Just a little bit about us - I'm the cook at the Leeds Centre and have worked here for 4 years now. Laura is the newest member of the team and is one of our riding instructors. Both of us get to witness firsthand every single day the wonderful benefits donkey therapy brings to not only the 180 children who enjoy a riding session every week, but also to the many visitors and to the residents of the carehomes and hospices we attend with our donkeys.

Please support us as generously as you can - it will make us feel so much more positive when we are teetering on the edge of that plane doorway, looking forward to several thousand feet of freefall at around 120mph!
