My friends Kate and Carly are running the Adidas Womens Challenge on Sunday 6th September with me to raise money for Samaritans Purse, because we believe in what they do and how they do it.

Here are a few examples of how a small amount of money can make a huge amount of difference

**  £9 can buy an education, uniform, paper, pencils and pens for a child in Jinja, Uganda

**  £20 will provide a family in Mbabane, Swaziland with tools and seeds to be able to grow their

     own produce

**  £250 will re-integrate an AIDS orphan from Kenya into a loving, extended family or community

     home.  It will also cover the cost of counselling, medication, food, education and any follow-up

     visits by our local staff.
