Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page.

I am 50 Years old in 2011 and to celebrate this milestone I am really excited to be running the London Marathon in aid of St Johns Ambulance.

It all started in March 2010 when I joined the Womens Running Network in Penarth. Initially I joined to improve my health & fitness and to deal with the stresses of juggling life and running our furniture business 'Chicos Lifestyle Furniture' - (couldn't resist a little plug there!)

As time progressed, so did I. Through the summer I ran 5 & 10k events with my son Scott, with the family always at the finishing line. Peter, Mum & Cerys are our dedicated supporters group, they are wonderful.

When I stop boring people about how I love running, Peter takes over! He is forever singing my praises to anyone and everyone - Oh Bless, he is so proud. XX When people take on that glazed look, you know you've gone too far...........lol

The Womens Running Network has given me the encouragement and motivation to realise my dream. Our leader Erika is so inspirational, a wonderful person, the whole group is so friendly and supportive of each other, 'Fab Run Buddies ' At our WRN Christmas party, £940 was raised towards my fundraising - I was absolutely thrilled. :-)

I completed my challenge to run the Cardiff Half Marathon in October 2010 and I am now training to fullfill my ultimate dream, Scott and I are running the London Marathon on 17th April 2011.

To celebrate my 50th birthday with me and to support me in achieving my dream, please, please dig deep and help me raise money for this worthwhile cause.

Your support and donations will make a difference!

Thank You xx

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. .
