After six attempts I've at last managed to secure my place in the 2010 Virgin London Marathon - "How excited am I"
Being a marathon virgin at 46 I have no doubt that this will be my one and only opportunity to achieve a life long dream of entering and completing this event. All of you that know me will appreciate that this is something that I've dreamed about for as long as I can remember. It has a special place in my heart due mainly to the bulk of the route being the childhood stomping ground of my dear mum - Sheila - who I sadly lost recently and I desperately miss. I know that she will be with me every step of the way whilst I am raising money for a cause that I truly believe is so terribly worthwhile but sadly under supported.
Please dig deep for Hearing Dogs and help make a much needed difference to the lives of others.
