Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On 9th May 2011, our close friend Ric Coggins passed away after losing his brave battle with cancer. Ric was diagnosed with bowel cancer on 7th July 2010 and a week later found out that he had secondary’s in the Liver.

Throughout his treatment Ric continued to inspire those fortunate enough to be around him, with his positive and determined attitude. He wanted something worthwhile to come from his illness and chose two charities he felt very passionate about.

To support Ric & Carrie’s nominated charities, and to help people in the same position as Ric in the future get the very best care and support, we will be completing a charity bike ride w/c 13th August 2011. Covering over 520 miles in 6 days, Stuart Angus, Mike Hibbert, Mark Prescott, Neil Mitchell & Chris Dale will cycle to all of the 2010-11 Premiership Football Clubs, with the much needed support of Kev Bellion who will drive our support vehicle.

We have set ourselves a huge challenge, and to make it all worthwhile, we need your help and support in sponsorship, so please dig deep.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you

Stu, Mike, Mark, Neil, Chris & Kev, and of course Ric & Carrie Coggins..

For more details please visit our Blog www.riccoggins.co.uk
