Miscarriage is a lonely, devastating experience that affects 1/4 of pregnancies. Hospitals deal whith the physical side of it but don't even touch the emotional side. The MIscarriage Association provides advice and support for and from people affected by miscarriage. The mother, her partner, their families before, during and after a miscarriage takes place. They rely on donations.
The work they do is absolutely vital but unfortunately it isn't reaching some of the people who need it most because they just don't have enough money to advertise. I didn't even know they existed until I was treated in the FOURTH hospital during my first miscarriage.
They really are a great and valuable charity. Please support them - and in turn - support families affected by miscarriage.
