The  selfish, thoughtless & aggressive actions of certain world leaders has lead to an emergence of worrying numbers of refugees around the world. I'm tired of reading Facebook and Twitter posts that condemn the actions of these world leaders, I'm bored of engaging in fruitless debates on western terrorism or consequences of the Arab Spring.

I'd like to 'really' help.  

Something tells me somewhere there is a frightened little girl, barely the age of my little sister. She, along with her family she has been forced to travel 1000s of miles on foot and risking her life crossing the ocean in search of a safe haven. If by running 13.1 miles I am able to raise up fund to provide just one meal... then I think that's the least I can do.

21 Kilometres might be a challenge for me, but it's a drip to an ocean in comparison to what the people that Penny Appeal support go through.
