You are probably aware that my baby sis Annmarie and I are planning to throw ourselves from a plane with altitudes up to 13000ft and a 120mph drop!!! Crazy I know but my god its for a well deserving cause....
The African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust has been running since 1996, carrying out great work, raising awareness amongst black and ethnic minority groups, about the importance of registering as blood and bone marrow donors. Unfortunately following the Christmas break the charity received the devastating news that they had lost major funding. This has resulted in the urgent need to raise £80,000 by the end of March 2011.
Now we are both well aware that everyone is feeling the pinch at the moment with the current financial climate, but that doesn't mean that we can't make a difference collectively as a group and raise some funds for the ACLT together. We will be so appreciative for any contribution you can make, big or small. Every penny counts, so please be as generous as you can.
