MARIA SALCEDO is raising money for The Children's Adventure Farm Trust
Story
At the beginning of October, myself, my work pals at CDL and my great mate Lisa Jenkins will be climbing the incredible Kilimanjaro mountain in Tanzania; Africa’s highest mountain at 5,900 meters.
For any one who knows me really well, they would probably say “are you mad”, but they will also know I love a challenge, and this is the biggest to me. I’m doing this thinking of my mum and dad, I know exactly what they would be saying…., but also how proud they would be.
We are all raising funds for a wonderful local children’s charity called CAFT. They provide activities and holidays for disabled, terminally ill and disadvantaged children; and their families. The staff do an amazing
job for children who wouldn't normally get the chance to have a break or a holiday. We have all been inspired by CAFT’s brilliant team to raise funds for the children and families they support.
Our team goal is to raise £20,000. My personal goal is to try to raise
£3,600. No small feat I know, but any donation or sponsorship, however small; will be massively appreciated by me and make a real difference to CAFT. Please help me reach my target and reach my personal goal of climbing Kili.
