Last year I sat at home and watched The Great Manchester Swim on Telly and decided that that would be something that I would really like to do. It's a mile swim around Salford Quays. I couldn't possibly have attempted it then though! Now three stone lighter and a whole lot fitter, I'm going to give it my best shot on the 1st of July 2012.

My chosen charity is Gwynedd & Anglesey Asperger/Autism Support Group, who support individuals and families throughout both counties, who are living with Autism/Asperges Syndrome. It's a charity that I believe does a great deal of valuable work in my area.
