On the 2nd and 3rd March 2013 we are going to be rowing 100 miles from Montford Bridge to Upton- Upon Severn. A HUGE challenge especially as 5 out of the 6 actually rowing, have NEVER ROWED BEFORE!! So that we are fully prepared for the challenge we will be training 2-3 times a week for the next 9 weeks in bleak winter weather conditions making the challenge even more challenging!!

Why are we doing such a thing? We hear you asking...

We know a precious little girl called Mia, who has recently had open heart surgery at the Birmingham Children's Hospital, an operation that has saved her life... Mia is only 4 months old.

Birmingham Children's Hospital have been amazing at looking after Mia as well as supporting her family through this very difficult time... Mia is now off the life support machine she was put on after her surgery and is on the road to recovery, getting gradually better day on day.

We are doing this challenge for Mia and for the fantastic work Birmingham Children's Hosital do for children and families alike.

So please give what you can and know that the money you donate will be going towards making a difference to many young people's lives...
