Thank you so much for the huge level of support shown by everyone so far. But the time is upon us! Tomorrow morning we are flying from Gatwick and will not return until we have beaten the Sahara... You can track our progress through marathondessables.com - by finding us (Johnnie - 940, Robbie - 872) in the list of 2016 competitors, you can also send us messages! Needless to say, we will be lacking a sense of humour probably even by the end of day 1 and so anything to pick us up would be greatly appreciated.... We will also be trying to update everyone afterwards and get some good footage of us out there!

Once again, thank you so much for all the tremendous support. 

We will be raising money for a charity called Walkoncemore. It is a small charity who work towards finding a cure for Spinal Cord Injury.  Through devastating injuries people all over the world - usually young fit and healthy people, are paralysed - and there is no need for it to be like this! There is a cure out there, and science is bringing that cure ever closer but it cannot be done without the essential support of Walkoncemore, who are dedicated to funding the most promising cures to eradicate the injury forever. 

We are so lucky to be healthy and active, and the thought of losing the ability to walk, run and interact with others is a living nightmare. Please help us raise money so this nightmare can end. 

We will be fundraising in Manchester starting in September, and have many exciting fundraising plans.
