Matthew's Friends provide information and support for children and adults using Ketogenic Dietary Therapies for epilepsy, Glut1DS, and other neurological disorders.

Story

Monday March 26th 2012 is Purple Day.

"Purple Day is an international grassroots effort dedicated to increasing awareness about epilepsy worldwide."

SONY Music, in partnership with Matthew's Friends, are helping to raise awareness and funds in recognition of Purple Day.

Matthew's Friends "supports all those involved with these treatments and help further research and development into the use of Dietary Treatments for Epilepsy."

Members of SONY have organised a group Skydive to raise vital funds to support Matthew's Friends and the amazing work they do.

I've put myself forward to take part in a jump and pledged to raise £500+ pounds as a cause.

So here's where you come in... I need you to help me reach my target by sinking your meat-hooks, forks, Brass Bands (hands) in to those lovely deep pockets of yours and produce as much wonga, moo-la, wedge, lolly, swag, paper, nugget, currency, bread and honey (money) as you can possibly spare...

Appreciate it's a bit of a middle-class cliche to be throwing myself out of a plane to raise some money, but that aside it goes without saying how great a cause it is - plus I'm a tad nervous about it...
