Maidenhead Town FC (MTFC) are a local football club founded in 2004 by a group of friends all based in Maidenhead, Berkshire.

One of our founder players, Craig Dunne (just 1 goal from 57 games, terrible really) along with his brother Kevin, set out to raise funds last year to honour their late mum, Jan, who sadly passed away in April 2010. With over £6000 raised to date, details of this superb effort from the guys can be seen at the following site;

This year also saw Maidenhead Town FC hit their 'la decima', our 10th season as a club (we still haven't won anything). While the players may have changed since our first game against Foxes in September 2004 (great goal Gav), our ethos and group spirit still remains.

We want to tie the two achievements together and support the great work already done by the Dunny Brothers by hosting the MTFC Legends Match on Saturday 13th September, a fund-raising day where all proceeds head towards the memory of Jan.

The Day;

The Match - the best of MTFC's past take on the current crop of superstars in a 90-minute barnstormer at Braywick Sports Centre in Maidenhead (SL6 1DX).

Kick off is 12.00pm and there will be a match programme, refreshments and a very good game of football to watch! Please feel free to come and support the guys!

The Post-Match - Owen Roberts has kindly arranged for Boyne Hill Cricket Club to be used as a shin-dig venue (thank you Rusty), where BBQ food & drink will flow along with our Raffle Draw and some other little money-raising ideas!

Our ask

Please please please try to make the day! Invite everyone; family, kids (plenty for the little ones to do at the Club afterwards), friends, work colleagues and even strangers...the more, the merrier!

If you can't make the day, we would love you to buy some raffle tickets! They are £2.50 each or 5 for £10 and there are some superb prizes on offer including;

Ascot Tickets, Golf at Stoke Park, Car Service & MOT, signed Heston Blumenthal & Tom Kerridge books, Haringtons vouchers, Wine Hampers, A Premier League signed shirt as well as much, much more.

There will be 2 Star Prizes announced on the evening!

Please add in the message box how many you would like & we'll get them to you. Alternatively, you can always buy some on the day!

Thank you in advance for your support and we look forward to seeing you on the day,

MTFC & The Dunne Brothers
