At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thousands of people are diagnosed every year, with no cure yet in sight. My dear mum was diagnosed in 2008, culminating her move to a nursing home, under difficult circumstances for us all, in November 2015. This awful and unforgiving illness has been slowly taking away everything that made her the woman she was.

I want to raise money to help combat dementia - any donations, no matter how small, would be very gratefully received.

Thank you,

Stephen and the Welton family
