As many of you will know the Macmillan 4x4 UK challenge is an annual navigation event in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, or as more commonly known Macmillan Nurses.
Each year an intrepid group of 4x4's set off from somewhere in the West Midlands into the unknown for two days, navigating around the UK picking up clues, maps and co-ordinates on route. Each team raises as much sponsorship as they can, all of which goes to Macmillan. In 2006 an outstanding £67,000 was raised. Well, the competitors have raised the bar this year and the 60 teams are trying to break the £100k barrier.
