Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Two years ago I pushed myself to complete the Great North Bike ride with the help of Graeme my hubby this is 64 miles (only meant to be 60!) it was hard to say the least and I vowed never to do any thing like it again, until now!

At 47 I think I'm having a mid life crisis!! why else would I decide to do the Great North Run, a few reasons why I shouldn't do this:-

* I've only got 10 weeks preparation...less when you read this!

* I've never ran in my life

* I've a chest injury from an assault whilst working as a paramedic

* It's 13 miles and very very hard

So why am I putting myself through this?

* To raise money for Willowburn Hospice in Lanchester, they provide free palliative care for adults with life-limiting illnesses.

* As a northerner it is my time to take part in what is a phenomenal event for us Geordies to be proud of.

* Mostly because I'm having a Mid Life Crisis....

So for all of the above reasons please dig deep and donate now xxx
