Thank you for visiting our “Macmillan Mega Mission - Great Wall of China” fundraising page.

Vicky Haddock, Liz Waters, Angela Grubham and Alice Partridge have made a pledge to raise a minimum of £17,000 over the next 24 months. We hope to reach our target by hosting various fun events at work and other fund raising ideas in our local area.

Our final challenge will take place between 29 September - 9 October 2013, where we shall trek along ancient and remote sections of The Great Wall of China, as it snakes across the beautiful contours of the Yanshan Mountains.

Our 11 day trek starts in Huangyaguan which is situated in a beautiful valley in the heart of the Yanshan Mountains. We shall start our day's walk heading up the steep renovated steps towards what appears to be a sheer cliff face. This is where we encounter Heavens Ladder, a steep ascent of over 300 steps leading us up the cliff face.
