Hi everyone,

Thank you for visiting my Shine fundraising page.

As most of you know, my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer in  March 2011 and after ongoing treatment for over a year, she has had an amazing recovery.

I am truly grateful for everything everyone has done in support of her and I want to give something back by being involved in the half marathon shine walk. I want to raise money for Cancer Research UK to find ways to treat breast cancer patients to increase recovery rates and especially to avoid it at very early stages.

It had been a difficult year for my mum and our family and I would really appreciate all the help I can get in providing me with donations for Cancer Research UK.

Please show your support and keep me motivated to get down the gym (even though its a walk - but for me, its tough!!!)
