WaterAid is an international non-profit with one goal: to change the world through water. Along with decent toilets and good hygiene, a reliable supply of clean water is essential for health, dignity and a life full of opportunity.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On May 21st  I will be taking part in the 3 Peaks Challenge with some of my work colleagues, to raise as much money and awareness for WaterAid.

WaterAid in particular is a charity we are really excited to support since we have offices in Africa and work with a lot of candidates and clients in this region.

As a team we are hoping to raise a minimum of £5,000 for the charity. This
money will help WaterAid deliver access to water, sanitation and hygiene to some of the most vulnerable people, many of whom live in Africa. We will also be using the money to support WaterAid’s project to focus on building these communities capacity to sustain new facilities and newly adopted hygiene practices for future generations.

The grueling event involves climbing the highest peaks in
Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours. As many will know, the distance I will need to walk will not be my biggest challenge, it is my fear of heights and the sleep deprivation that will be!  I am often thinking why did I sign up to this with my fear of heights and then I remember how lucky I am as I drink my glass of clean water.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Plus you can donate from anywhere in the world!

I would be grateful for your support, no amount of money is too little, and together we can help make a difference.
