We provide information and support families to improve the lives of affected children

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Last may I attended with my family, our first conferene hosted by WHST. There we did not have to justify Kian and his development, we did not have to explain his condition. We were surrounded by people in the same situation. We gained so much knowledge and support from that conference. The conferences are very expensive to host and can only happen every two years. The money I will hopefully raise through the GNR, will go towards the cost of the conference, the newsletters that I really look forward to receiving, help for equipment needed and so importantly research on this rare condition.

Kian is an absaloute pleasure and we have come along way emotionally since Kian's diagnosis.

I want to run the great north run to raise money but also awareness of this syndrome. I am hoping to improve my time from last year and have started this page early to help keep me motivated. Any donation would be very much appreciated and will go to such a great trust!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you x
