My husband Sladjan an me have successfully completed the Lancaster Loop 50 mile cycle challenge for MedEquip4Kids. It was rainy and windy and we have discovered that waterproof clothing is not really waterproof. Sladjan has endured some technical problems with his bike that was fixed by the charity mechanics and he was able to continue the event.

We wish to thank the organisers for a job well done, the excellent signposting; we didn't get lost once in spite of the atroceous weather and low visibility. A big thank you for the ladies who manned the pit stops, and provided us with delicious cakes and the much needed hot drings. Last, but not least, a huge thanks for everyone who donated money so far will do so in the near future. We will do it next year as well!
