<p class="p1">Sorry folks, but we did it! The forecast was awful and we thought we'd probably duck out at the last minute and have to return all your generous donations, but with gleeful and self-satisfied apologies we clocked up 19 churches in about 19 meandering miles. Apart from a few Heavenly drops for a few minutes right at the end, we stayed dry, and with very little beating to windward staggered with jelly legs into our home church, Carlton, just before it closed. </p>
<p class="p1">We avoided the ford at Benhall this time, having gone overboard in it last year, so we started with a lift to Framlingham (6 churches there, easy-peasy), then trundled to Cransford, Bruisyard, Rendham (pub lunch, excellent Victoria bitter), Sweffling, Great Glemham (to find the landlord had done a runner and the pub was closed), Farnham, Benhall, Saxmundham, Kelsale and Carlton.
