Wow what an experience! Having been so nervous and worried a few weeks ago and wishing it all over before it had even started, I had a little chat to myself and repackaged it in my mind as a 'London fun run' and as a result I enjoyed every minute of it and really appreciated being part of such an amazing event.
The crowds of supporters were on both sides from the beginning to the end cheering each and everyone of us on and the streets were full with everyone enjoying the carnival atmosphere.
It was great to be part of the FLEET chartiy and on arriving at the starting point with 21 cornish flags we had a very welcome reception from all the other runners and most wanted to know if there was anyone left in Cornwall or if the last one of us had turned off the light!

As one of the smaller and not so well known charities FLEET has to work twice as hard to raise donations for something most of assumed was available to us all already and
I guess it costs FLEET approx. £500 per runner so I am going to really push to get as much as possible for them.Thank you once again for your support and I have attached a few photos of the day.
