My story
We are a team of plucky public affairs professionals, drawn from as far afield as Oxford, Aylesbury, Winslow and Great Haseley, brought together in an attempt to complete a 26 mile hike, over 2,300 ft in 12 hours.
The hike is a long way from our daily office routine, but we are all committed to doing the best we can and raising as much money as possible for Sense – the leading national charity supporting and campaigning for children and adults who are deafblind.
We’ll hopefully keep this page up to date with information and photos as we train for the Ridgewalk.

Well the team is in one piece (for the most part) and we finished our walk at around 11.35am on Sunday morning! We'll post more details of our times up in due course. The scenery was great and we were rewarded with a fantastic sunrise!
There have been some benefits to training for the walk this weekend - the scenary has been great!
Our fundraising is going well, but as an added bonus, one of our Ridgewalk walkers, Dave, has volunteered to shave his beard off if the team manage to break the £1,000 barrier by Friday 29 June. See the picture we've posted for a few words from Dave ..
