Story
Today, 1 in 9 people lack access to clean water, this is over 844 million people lacking a basic necessity that you and I take for granted every day. In our day to day lives we have never had to walk for hours to access water, we have never had to consider whether the water we drink is safe, or if we will contract waterborne diseases, but for millions of children, this is their stark reality. The consequences of consuming unsafe water are grave, in roughly the time you spent reading this a child under 5 will have died of diarrhoea caused by dirty water. The Human Relief Foundation is working in impoverished areas of Ghana to install tube wells to provide desperate communities with clean water. Please donate generously so that lacking access to clean water will become a thing of the past, as it has no right to exist in the 21st century.
