As most of you will be aware I was born prematurely at 25 weeks and 3 days and weighing just 1lb 13 oz. Without the help and dedication of all the staff in the Special Care Baby Unit at Newcastle's RVI my mammy and daddy would probably not have the precious little daughter they were longing for.
It is for this reason that we all want to give a little something back to the Ward's own charity.
My daddy is running the Great North Run and three weeks later the Kielder marathon and is trying to raise as much as he can for this brilliant charity. We owe them a lot!!
