Story
Every day 7 young people in the UK are diagnosed with cancer. The Teenage Cancer Trust supports and saves many, many of these precious lives. But they need our help to do this.A group of 15 year old girls from Norwich High are climbing Snowdon. None of them have climbed a mountain before and they woke up at 3 am to start long day trip . You get the easy bit, to support us with a donation! We want to raise money to help fund the world class services that Teenage Cancer Trust provide on ward C9, Addenbrookes Hospital.
Maisie was a very vibrant and courageous girl who was diagnosed with a rare aggressive bone cancer called Ewing's sarcoma.
In 2014 at 15yrs old, she underwent intensive rounds of chemotherapy, radiotherapy and a stem cell transplant, all at ward C9 at Addenbrookes hospital, Cambridge.
This was all facilitated by Teenage Cancer Trust, who fund 28 specialist units across the UK and 48 nurses and youth support coordinators .
In loving memory of Maisie, we are committed to fundraising for this amazing charity, to help to ensure that Teenage Cancer Trust can continue to support young people's lives. Without the support of the Consultants,Drs, Nurses and youth support coordinators, our family experience would have had no rays of sunlight .
