PLEASE HELP MAJOR!
Cats and Dogs Home is calling all dog lovers to dig deep and help raise hundreds of pounds towards Major’s operation to repair a broken front leg.
Major is a gentle, good-natured four year-old Lurcher, who was found wandering in the Salisbury Plain area by an Army patrol on exercise. Hence his name! A severe fracture to one of Major’s front legs has left him in severe pain, which has been brought under control with vet attention and the help of medication.
The animal charity is urgently trying to raise £1,500 towards Major’s operation to re-set bones in his leg and help pay for subsequent rehabilitation costs and is now turning to animal lovers for their help. The operation is planned for the end of October and should more than the required sum of £1,500 be raised, Bath Cats and Dogs Home has pledged proceeds will go towards similar operations.
