Help Future Horizons Raise Money For the Japanese Recovery Effort

The events of the past week in Japan have been deeply saddening and shocking.  Our thoughts and prayers are with all of our friends and business colleagues there, as well as with the Japanese nation as a whole.

Even as I write this message, the scale of the horror is still sinking in and I am profoundly humbled by the decency, strength, stoicism and resilience of the Japanese people in the face of such a dreadful tragedy.

Whilst the immediate tragedy is Japan’s, the longer-term consequences include questions on structural risks and imperfections in the global electronics industry eco-system.  

We have taken the decision to postpone our International Electronics Forum, which was due to be held in May until the autumn to show respect to Japan and our Japanese clients.

We would also like to donate as much money as possible to the recovery effort, therefore we are encouraging all our clients to make a donation via our Just Giving Page to help Japan through this extremely difficult time.
