Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Our company "Warburton's" is focussing heavily on donating as much as they can to raise funds and awareness for Cancer research UK. On the back of this, a group of us wanted to do something for the cause as well. It was decided to tackle the Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge on the 22nd August of this year. People were keen to join in and be part of our challenge. A team of 8 people was quickly established consisting of: Derek Spry, Malcolm Sharp, Jim Bow, Ian Dawson, Dale Harland, Dave Cossins, Stuart Pawson and Barry Sharp.

Our walking ability as a team varies from the experienced walker to the complete novice, however we remain undeterred.

The walk is 24-26 miles, with over 5000ft of ascent. Pen y Ghent(691mtrs), Whernside(728mtrs), ingleborough(723mtrs) These peaks form part of the Pennine range, and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Our aim is to complete the challenge within 12 hours.

Please support us by donating what you can.
