Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the British 10k run in London on the 10th July with my colleagues from London Medical. The charitable proceeds I raise will be going to the UK Thalassaemia Society. This is a small charity run for the patients and families of individuals who have inherited the blood disorder of Thalassaemia. This is a condition in which I have a special interest, having set up a unique heart service for these patients some 20 years ago at UCH. I have learnt hugely from my experience of treating these individuals and their families, they are an inspirational group having to deal with a difficult multi-system disoder for a lifetime. Now it is time for me/ us to give something back to support their charity & all its works!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
