Story

Update from Margaret & Jon:- We've done it! We reached Narbonne on Monday 14th September at 5.30pm and had a swim in the Med. We had cycled 636km in 10 days and enjoyed every minute. The French roads were wonderful.

We would like to thank all the donors for the wonderful support for LEPRA and the kind generosity of so many. We are very pleased with the results of the cycle ride.

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

It's not too late to help support our "Manche to the Med" (English Channel to the Mediterranean) fundraising cycle ride. The event was undertaken to raise money to support the work of LEPRA Health in Action.

Jon Knowlson joined Alexander and me as we set-off from Portsmouth for Cherbourg on September 4th to begin the first stage of our journey.  We then rode from the top of Cherbourg Peninsular down the west coast to Bordeaux and then south east to Carcassonne and finally ended our journey at Narbonne on the Mediterranean coast.
