We've completed our first ride which was Manchester to Liverpool, this started off as a cloudy day but the closer we got to Liverpool the brighter it got, I'm not sure if this was the weather or just the fact we were getting closer to the finish! In the end we completed the ride in 3 hours and 30 minutes. We're all looking forward to the Manchester to Blackpool ride and would like to thank everyone who has donated so far!
The second ride to Blackpool started off a very nice day despite what the weather man said but when we go to the last few miles which was all on the sea front, it proved a lot more difficult and with not much energy left in the legs, the wind and rain seriously affected us. We hung on and managed to complete the ride in 4 hours.
The third ride to Chester which we knew would have a lot more hills saw us riding through Delamere forest which again proved to be difficult but for different reasons than the other rides. Nice weather certainly helped with this one with a finish by the river. We completed this ride in 3 hours 23 minutes.
The final ride is going to be tough and we have been doing as much riding as possible in our spare time including a sportiv around Chester which was supposed to be 50 miles but turned out to be 60 and had the steepest hills we have encountered so far.
