Manchester 100 · 6 September 2009

Papyrus is a young person’s suicide prevention charity. That means we provide urgent support, education, campaigns and conversations that keep children and young people safe from suicide. And above all else, we’re here. We’re always here. That’s how we save lives.

Story

Mark Brandish (ICT), Andy McCarroll (HR) and Ian Snailham (SR) from Deeside College are cycling the Manchester 100 (yes that is 100 miles) on Sunday 6th September 2009. Starting and finishing at Wythenshawe Park, Manchester, the route heads first to Northwich, taking in Delamere Forest and Nantwich (the half way point) for lunch before heading back through Middlewich to the Finish. Money raised will go to support Deeside College's chosen charity for this year - PAPYRUS.

PAPYRUS is a voluntary UK organisation committed to the prevention of young suicide and the promotion of mental health and emotional wellbeing - http://www.papyrus-uk.org/.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity. So please dig deep and sponsor us now!

Many thanks - Andy, Mark and Ian
