Silas Pullen will be forever 11, and always in our Hearts. We signed up to the major series with him very much at the fore front of our thoughts as he has been since he was taken between Christmas and New Year. We didn't just come across his story, his parents are our friends, his younger brother was at school with our children and we were routing for him every step of the way. His entire family are so courageous and we couldn't fail to feel their devastation on December 29th 2013. We wanted to do something, anything to help..... Sarah A trained for months with a friend to do a mile swim in the Thames. At the very last minute it was cancelled, but they went ahead anyway - just not in the Thames! So we persuaded her to join us (read signed her up regardless!).
So here we are, about to take part in something we'd rather not in, in the hope that we can honour Silas' memory. The whole world needs to find out more about glioblastoma, this is without a border and so wherever you are, please Sponsor us!
Don't forget, we are also doing this for Charley Kitley (https://www.justgiving.com/MandSGetMuddyforCharleyandSilas/)
