Me and my bud Chris love playing video games, especially the classics. Just recently the bright idea came into my head about playing video games to raise money for charity I ran this past Chris and he was like "YES" what a great idea. "Special Effect" seemed to be the perfect fit as our charity of choice. They do great work bringing the simple joy of video games that we take for granted to people with disabilities. Please find below a link to their introductory video:

So what are you doing i hear you ask! Well if the web page isn't a give away on the 10th of March 2014 (Mar10!) me and Chris are going to sit down for 24hrs and play the core Mario games (NES, SNES and N64 if we get that far!!) in release order. The aim is to complete as many as possible in that time

As we define the details we will provide updates here, quite possibly include the odd training videos as we prepare for this challenge.

£100 - I will dress as Mario or Luigi. (looks like this is happening)
£200 - I will only eat Italian food for the entire 24hours
£300 -  I will shave off my beloved beard and rock a Mario/Luigi moustache
